The Streaming Giant Selects Perfect Actor for Mr. 2 in One Piece Upcoming Installment

The Secret Organization is set to make a major impact in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, although the real showdown isn’t set to occur until season 3, and a cherished, fan-favorite member has just been cast.

Netflix announced recently that Cole Escola will appear in the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will play Bentham. The actor, who is identifies as non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will play a version of that role reinterpreted as non-binary identifying, instead of as a drag artist, in the live-action series, unlike the initial comic and anime.
