A man from Australia who vaulted across a fence and touched actress Ariana Grande has been deported and prohibited from Singapore.

The individual, 26, was given a sentence to nine days in prison for causing a public disturbance and has now been "prohibited from returning to Singapore," Singaporean immigration authorities informed local media.

The celebrity has mentioned experiencing PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at her concert in Manchester in spring of 2017 took the lives of over twenty people and hurt numerous attendees.

Throughout the court proceedings, the authorities learned he had tried to gain access on the movie's debut on two occasions, according to regional reports.

He then made a second attempt to cross the barriers. Security staff prevented him and held him in place.

Wen later posted videos expressing gratitude to the star for permitting his access and said he was "free."

Law enforcement arrested him the next day and accused him with disorderly conduct, to which he confessed.

The District Judge the judicial official was referenced by Channel News Asia as remarking that the man sought attention, commenting that he was incorrect to think he would not face any penalties.

The singer has not commented on the case.

Cynthia Erivo spoke about the situation to the press, stating that she "just wanted to ensure my co-star was safe."

"I believe he had no intention to us harm, but you cannot be certain with those things, and I sought to confirm that she was OK. That was my first instinct," she commented.
