Another recorded message, shared in court, documented Ms Wandelt saying: "I understand I'm heavy and not pretty like Madeleine was, but I feel what I believe."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's recording stated: "Imagine there is a slight possibility that I am she? Then what? Wouldn't that be important for you?"

"I don't want money, I have a life here in Poland, I simply desire to discover," the message continued.

The panel was advised that by means of emails, text messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt asked for a DNA test, forwarded youth pictures to her phone in a bid to display a resemblance to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and stated to have "recollections" from a early life with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, a data specialist with the police force who gathered the information, told the court there "showed no any responses" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt additionally reached out to family friends of the McCanns, based on the phone records.

On that date, Gerry McCann answered a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, saying she had "the wrong phone."

That day Ms Wandelt left a recording on Mrs McCann's recording stating "I will persist and I plan to establish my position."

I wanted to achieve this with another person I hadn't anticipated I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."
